Highlight # 2 – The Resuscitation of The Alive with Clive Most Inspiring Song Contest

Hello Friends:

This is the ninth of ten Blog posts I’m devoting to counting down The Top 10 Alive with Clive Highlights of 2011.  In this Blog post, I discuss Highlight # 2 – The Resuscitation of The Alive with Clive Most inspiring Song Contest.

In a Blog post I published on December 19, 2011, which you’ll see when you click here, I announced that I was ready to resuscitate the contest to find the most inspiring song sung on Alive with Clive so far.

While I remain committed to implementing the idea outlined in the above-mentioned Blog post of December 19, 2011, in light of my upcoming plans I’ll be announcing soon, for the foreseeable future it is unlikely that I will have the time to devote any attention to it.

In the meantime, though, I am continuing to add inspiring songs that are performed on Alive with Clive to the list of songs that will be the subject of future Blog posts and will be entered in the contest.

For now, here are five songs that will definitely be entered in the contest:

The first is “Oneman” by Mayday Radio, a dynamic band comprised of Jeff Ting (vocals and guitar), Dimitri Moderbacher (upright bass), Anthony Taddeo (drummer) and Hara Garacci (guitar).

Here’s the picture that was taken on August 5, 2011, on the set of Alive with Clive of me with the members of Mayday Radio:

The second is “Heart Knows How” by Jem Warren, the title song from his new CD.  Here’s the video clip of Jem Warren performing “Heart Knows How” on Alive with Clive:

And the fifth is “Something Out Of Nothing” by Shelly Bhushan.  Here’s the video clip of Shelly Bhushan performing “Something Out Of Nothing” on Alive with Clive:

I plan to devote further attention to organize the contest to find the most inspiring song sung on Alive with Clive so far in 2013, and may publish Blog posts about inspiring songs, to add to the collection of Blog posts about inspiring songs you’ll find when you click here in the archives on my Blog, every now and then in the months ahead.

Best regards.
