The Oscars vs. NLX: And the winner is . . .

Hello Friends:

 

I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Natasha Alexandra (NLX) on Alive with Clive.

 

Natasha is a gifted and talented singer/songwriter who has created an outstanding compilation of songs you’ll find on her CD, Bitch Get Fit.

 

The last song on the album, “Find Love,” was selected for the October 17, 2010, episode of the ABC TV Hit Show, Brothers and Sisters.

 

As mentioned in a Press Release I just published about Natasha, under the headline “Bitch Get Fit” Creator, NLX, Calls On Women To Be Strong, Wise and Assertive! which you’ll find when you click here, on the night of The Oscars on February 27, 2011, I was faced with a dilemma:  Watch The Oscars or see Natasha perform at Rockwood Music Hall at 9 p.m.  I chose to be at Rockwood for Natasha’s performance, and to her credit, The Oscars notwithstanding, the place was jam-packed with lots of her other fans too.  While highlights of The Oscars can be found on YouTube, I reasoned, I won’t ever be able to see Natasha’s show if I miss it.  And from the moment her fingers began to grace the keys of the piano at Rockwood, I knew I made the right choice for that night.

 

(By the way, I STILL have not taken the time to watch highlights of The Oscars, and if you have any particular recommendations for me to see, please let me know by posting a comment below.)
