Today is a special day of joy and celebration, and this morning, shortly after I awoke, I thought of this GREAT idea.
As you know, I recently created “The Exciting Brand New Alive with Clive YouTube Video Clip Contest!” which is described here, to determine which video clips to show on the Home Page of www.alivewithclive.tv between now and December 31, 2010.
Unless you’ve been following me on Facebook, or you’re one of the musicians I’ve interviewed on Alive with Clive who is featured in a video clip on The Alive with Clive TV Channel on YouTube, which you’ll see when you click here, what you may not know is that I am about to make a MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT!
All the ideas I have been implementing over the past five years have now led me to the point where I am in a position to make this ground-breaking MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT, and to say that I am excited about it would be a major understatement.
Now, by now you ought to have realized that I make use of every available opportunity to give the musicians I have interviewed on Alive with Clive as much free publicity as possible whenever possible, and to promote them in whatever ways I can. So now that I am about to make this MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT, I am adhering even more closely to this practice.
I therefore created “The Exciting Brand New Alive with Clive YouTube Video Clip Contest!” which you can read about when you click here or scroll down to see my earlier Blog post about it.
You see, when I make my MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT, A LOT of people all over the world are going to HAVE TO go to the Home Page of www.alivewithclive.tv to click on a link immediately to the right of the video clip that is featured on the Home Page of www.alivewithclive.tv.
Clearly, then, starting very soon, it will be HUGE for any musician I have interviewed on Alive with Clive who is featured in a video clip on The Alive with Clive TV Channel on YouTube, which you’ll find when you click here, to be featured in the one and only video clip on the Home Page of www.alivewithclive.tv.
So here’s the GREAT idea I thought of this morning:
When you’re at your July 4 barbeques or weddings, gather around a few friends with your iPads, iPhones or other devices you use to gain access to the Internet, watch the video clips on The Alive with Clive TV Channel on YouTube, choose one you like, and order “I’m Alive with Clive” T-shirts for yourselves in support of the musician you like.
If you are part of a group that orders at least ten “I’m Alive with Clive” T-shirts, I will do whatever I can to arrange for the musician you support to give you and your friends your own exclusive concert in your own home, FREE. (Since I haven’t yet discussed this idea with the musicians involved, I can’t guarantee their availability, but in all likelihood if you and your group order at least ten “I’m Alive with Clive” T-shirts on behalf of a musician featured in a video clip on The Alive with Clive TV Channel on YouTube, and you live in fairly close proximity to the musician, that musician will be delighted to provide an exclusive concert, FREE, for you and your friends at your home, or at another venue of your choosing, with my assistance. And if that musician isn’t available, I will have no difficulty in finding a replacement.)

A video clip of the musician for whom the most “I’m Alive with Clive” T-shirts have been ordered by 11.59 p.m. Pacific time on July 6 will be featured on the Home Page of www.alivewithclive.tv from July 7 through July 17, and the first musician to have received five orders of an “I’m Alive with Clive” T-shirt on his or her behalf will be featured before then.
At the moment, three orders for “I’m Alive with Clive” T-shirts have been placed in support of Scott Krokoff and no orders have been placed for any one else. So at the moment, it looks like the video clip of Scott Krokoff will be seen on the Home Page of www.alivewithclive.tv from July 7 to July 17, but a lot can happen between now and July 7, and a lot probably will.
Since I may, but don’t know if I can, wait until Wednesday to make my MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT (and I won’t be at my computer from late afternoon to the end of the night today, July 4), there’s a golden opportunity for at least one of the musicians to benefit from some major exposure on the Home Page of www.alivewithclive.tv on Monday and Tuesday, July 5 and 6, as well as from July 7 onwards.
