”Religion” by Dani Tersini is the twenty-first song to be featured on my Blog as part of my mission to provide you with inspiration through songs that have been performed by musicians on Alive with Clive in the past couple of years.
Dani performed “Religion” during her appearance on Alive with Clive with his brothers on April 24, 2009.

When asked on Alive with Clive if she has a Big Dream for her life, she said:
My Big Dream has always been to perform in front of millions of people… just to feel everyone’s energy together… everyone’s energy bouncing off each other and everyone being as one with the music… and to have that sense of community and everyone being universal… peace and love and music!
During her interview, Dani mentioned that John Lennon has always been a huge inspiration in her life, and his song, “Imagine”, inspired her to write her song, “Religion.”
In “Religion,” Dani in essence poses this thought-provoking question: “Isn’t it ironic that religion is the cause of so much conflict in the world?” With penetrating, heartfelt, lyrics the song represents a plea for all people to dispense with hatred and violence and to have compassion and love for one another.

“Religion” is a powerful song that has the potential to influence the world’s political and religious leaders and become known throughout the world. Furthermore, it’s an extraordinary contribution to the world so early in the music career of a young lady who is destined to make her mark on the world with her music through her passion and dedication to her craft.
