I’m delighted to announce that The First Alive with Clive Top 20 Concert will be taking place at Waltz-Astoria on Saturday, May 30, from 8 p.m to 11 p.m.
It will feature three of the most exciting emerging musical performers of our time:
- Anthony Melillo and The Melillo Brothers;
- Serotonen; and
- Jessica Labus

Waltz-Astoria is a unique performance space and artistic-minded wine/dessert bar located in Astoria, Long Island City, a cozy European neighborhood that overlooks the city of Manhattan from across the East River.
It is located at 23-14 Ditmars Boulevard, Astoria, NY 11105, on Ditmars Boulevard between 23rd and 24th Street. To get there by subway from Manhattan, take either the N or W train to Ditmars Boulevard and 31st Street (the last stop in Queens), and walk six blocks west to 24th Street.

First Alive with Clive Top 20 Concert To Feature Three Of Music’s Blossoming Superstars!
Before they were megasuperstars, musicians of the likes of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Eagles and Alanis Morissette played in small intimate settings where music fans could be up close and personal with them. Now, fans who want to experience three blossoming music superstars before they become so famous you can’t get near them have the opportunity to do just that at The FIRST Alive with Clive Top 20 Concert, which is being presented by Clive Swersky, host and producer of Alive with Clive and creator of The Alive with Clive Top 20, at Waltz-Astoria on May 30 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
This concert will feature Anthony Melillo and The Melillo Brothers, Serotonen, and Jessica Labus, all of whom — with the release of debut CDs — are just now beginning to emerge as musical powerhouses of the future.
“Anyone who is fortunate to get one of the few tickets available for this concert is in for a rare treat,” says Clive, “since all three of these extraordinary performers possess their own unique combination of talent, magnetism, passion and charisma that leaves audiences energized, invigorated and inspired — and realize, too,” he adds, “that everyone at the concert will have the chance to have fun, connect with interesting people they haven’t met before, and make new friends as well.”
All three performers have been interviewed on Alive with Clive, which is known as The TV Show That Inspires You To Multiply Your Magnificence! and all are in The Alive with Clive Top 20.
For the past several months, fans of musicians who have been interviewed on Alive with Clive have been voting for them to be included in The Alive with Clive Top 20, and Anthony Melillo has been in first place in The Alive with Clive Top 20 since its inception. A song from each musician or band who ends up in The Alive with Clive Top 20 on the day voting ends will be included on a compilation CD to be sold to raise at least a billion dollars for people suffering from AIDS, and to prevent the further spread of AIDS, in South Africa.
To give those determined to see this concert the opportunity to have a stronger chance of obtaining one of the limited number of tickets available, a special Web page, accessible from a link at the bottom of the Home Page at www.alivewithclive.tv, has been created for fans to register to receive advance notice to purchase tickets before they are made available for sale to the general public. Tickets remaining after those who pre-register for advance notice have bought their tickets will go on sale to the general public eight days before May 30, 2009.
