One of the musicians I interviewed recently on Alive with Clive is the extraordinarily-talented Joe Travers, who I describe as “a thoughtful, insightful and multi-faceted singer/songwriter with his finger on the pulse of a broad range of social issues . . . an undiscovered national treasure destined to take his place among such legendary singer/songwriters as Neil Young and Willie Nelson.” He has been receiving a steady stream of votes in recent weeks and is currently in twelfth place in The Alive with Clive Top 20.
During his interview on Alive with Clive, which was broadcast on Monday, January 12, at 8.30 p.m., and on Wednesday, January 14, at 7 p.m., on Channel 76 in White Plains, Joe sang two songs. The first is Without Love, which I posted on The Alive with Clive TV Channel on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/high5clive a few weeks ago.
The other song is Call It America. It’s all about the America we want to cherish. I posted it on The Alive with Clive TV Channel on YouTube a couple of days ago, just in time for Obama’s inauguration.

If you want to meet Joe in person and see him perform live, he’ll be one of four singer/songwriters performing on Wednesday, January 21, at the intimate Cornelia Street Café, 29 Cornelia Street, in Greenwich Village during the evening sponsored by Songwriter’s Beat, which is in it’s 9th year of sponsoring concerts featuring the best singer/songwriters from New York and other areas. The evening starts at 8.30 p.m. with each musician performing a half-hour set, and Joe will be the second musician to perform. There’s a $10 cover with a $7 minimum for food or drinks.
